The 2024 IAM Conference theme, Healthy Museums & Healthy Communities is set to inspire museums to looking beyond their traditional impact in their community. What does healthy mean to your museum? Does it just refer to best practices? What does the impact to your community look like when your museum focuses on health?
When we think of healthy museums it could mean anything from: financial health, a healthy work place, art or music therapy, health themed events like blood drives or mental health workshops, health in exhibitions, or many other things. We are looking for workshops and session proposals that touch on the idea of healthy living and museums.
